Yoga has become a fashionable thing now. And it seems everyone is running to do yoga. But do we really know yoga? Or accept yoga as a life style? Yoga as a lifestyle has a deep meaning to it. It is far more than doing asanas or practicing pranayama. Yoga is to see this whole life as one unitary movement, encompassing philosophy about all aspects of how we life life. Yoga is harmony of soul and body. Yoga is learning of how to achieve balance between mind, body and spirit. It involves a moral way of life, not just doing some exercises by body only.
Yoga helps you to see this whole life as one, to observe, to perceive life as a whole, as a total unitary movement. If you force the body, it is not yoga. So to understand yoga as a life style, we need to see our daily activities with a complete mindfulness and awareness, like how we eat? How we conduct ourselves? Our mind thoughts etc. According to Shree Bhagvad Gita “ Yoga is not just sitting with the spine erect and doing some japa or breathing, Yoga is all, all that you do. And when you do something, do only that one hundred percent” Perfection in every action is Yoga.
Adopting yoga as life style means living life fully, performing actions with mindfulness, adopting a non judgemental stance and being open to your true self, letting go of ego and accepting your true self to advance on the path of spiritual journey.
So join us and introduce iyengar yoga into your life to get balance and clarity in everything you do. And learn to live an authentic lifestyle despite everyday stress.
